Pre-heat oven to 220°C (200°C for a fan oven), Gas mark 7.
Empty the contents of one sachet of stuffing mix into a bowl and add 250ml of boiling water, and a knob of butter if using.
Stir until all of the stuffing mix is wet and all ingredients are well mixed.
Leave to stand for 5 – 10 minutes before placing the stuffing into a greased ovenproof dish or shape into balls and place onto a greased baking sheet.
Bake for 20 – 25 minutes for stuffing balls or 25 – 30 minutes when cooking as a block.

Luxury Sausage Meat Stuffing
Gently fry a large, finely chopped onion in butter until softened and set aside to cool.
In a large bowl, add 400g of sausage meat with the cooled onions, a medium sized egg and both sachets of stuffing mix. Mix well and then form into golf ball sized balls. Bake in a lightly greased ovenproof dish, or baking tray, for 20-25 minutes at 220°C (200°C for a fan oven), Gas Mark 7.
