Preparation Instructions

TO MIX UP THE BATTER

Mix 150ml (¼ pint) of cold water, two eggs and the pancake mix together.

Beat into a smooth, thick batter

TO COOK AMERICAN STYLE PANCAKES TO PERFECTION

Heat ½ teaspoon of oil in a non-stick frying pan until hot.

Add 30ml (2 tablespoons) of batter into the centre of the pan, forming a pancake about 10cm in diameter.

Cook for 1-2 minutes until the top of the pancake starts to bubble and the underside becomes golden brown.

Turn the pancake carefully with a spatula and continue to cook until both sides until golden brown.

Repeat using a little oil at a time, until all the batter has been used.

Serve with your favourite toppings.

Why not try stacking the pancakes high and topping with crispy bacon and maple syrup for a taste sensation.

TO COOK WAFFLES

Prepare the batter as described above, then pour the desired amount of batter mix into a lightly greased waffle iron, cooking according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Serve with your favourite toppings.

For a delicious breakfast, serve topped with yoghurt and fresh berries.
