Preparation Instructions

You Will Need: 4 medium sized eggs, 200ml whole milk, 100ml water, vegetable oil for the tin

Pour a small amount of vegetable oil into a muffin or patty tin (a muffin tin will give the best results)

Place tin in the oven set at 240°C (220° for a fan oven), Gas Mark 9 to heat oil until it starts to smoke.

Whilst the oil is heating, place the contents of the sachet into a large bowl.

In a separate container beat the eggs, milk and water and then add to dry mix.

Whisk on a high speed for 1 – 2 minutes until thoroughly mixed, then pour the blended mix back into the jug.

When the oil is smoking hot pour the batter into the cups to ¾ full.  Take care as hot oil can burn.

Bake for 20 – 25 mins.
