8 fresh sausages (if using frozen, defrost thoroughly before
use)
1 red onion (optional)
Chopped mixed herbs (optional)

How to Make:
Pre-heat oven to 220°C (190°C for a fan oven) 425°F, Gas Mark

Place the sausages in a shallow baking tin and cook for approx
10 minutes.
Whilst the sausages are in the oven, prepare the Green's Batter
Mix following the back of pack instructions.
Sauté the onion till soft (optional)
Add the onion to the batter along with chopped herbs
(optional)
After the sausages have been in the oven for 10 minutes remove
them from the oven and pour over the batter, and cook for a further
30 minutes.
If the sausages have not released much fat, add a little oil
and return to the oven for a further 3 - 4 minutes to get the oil
hot, and then pour over the batter.
