Apple Syrup Pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 Pack of Green's Golden Syrup Pancake mix
  • 1 Medium egg
  • 3 Tin of apple or other fruit pie filling
  • Ice cream

Method

  1. Make up the pancake batter by following the on pack instructions.
  2. Cook the pancakes by following the on pack instructions.
  3. Warm the golden syrup sachets in a mug of hot water for one minute.
  4. Warm your apple/fruit pie filling in a saucepan.
  5. Spoon the filling onto each pancake and fold in half.
  6. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
  7. Drizzle each pancake and the ice cream with the golden syrup.

    We’ve always loved your Lemon meringue mix and the Egg custard mix. Was very disappointed to find that you no longer give a sachet of nutmeg with the egg custard.

      Thanks for your message.

      A decision was made to remove the sachet but, to incorporate the nutmeg flavour into the mix itself.
